Leeds Fine Artists (LFA) is an association of artists from across Yorkshire. It was established in 1874, which makes it one of the oldest regional arts bodies in the UK. From its beginnings in Leeds it has spread throughout Yorkshire and is now one of the most prestigious arts organisations in the North of England. LFA hosts an annual exhibition of members’ work as part of its remit to encourage and promote art and artists throughout Yorkshire. Latterly this has been in Dean Clough’s Crossley Gallery… although not for the last two years for reasons you can probably guess. It’ll be great to see them back. The association currently has over 50 exhibiting members working in two and three dimensions in a wide variety of media and prides itself on the high quality of work. More details about LFA’s members, its other exhibitions and its election policy can be found on the website at https://www.leedsfineartists.co.uk
