Halifax Urban Trail
On Easter Monday, the inaugural Halifax Urban Trail will bring a unique 10K-plus race through the heart of the town – including a rare opportunity to run through Dean Clough.
Starting at Shibden Park, the route climbs to Beacon Hill before descending into Halifax town centre, where runners will pass through some of the town’s most iconic buildings rather than simply running past them. Along the way, participants will experience a subterranean passage beneath Shibden Hall, Halifax Minster, the Piece Hall, the Borough Market and Dean Clough.
Inspired by the popular trails urbains of France, the event promises a memorable experience for runners of all abilities, while raising funds for Overgate Hospice and its ambitious new building project.
When: Monday 6th April, 09:30 start at Shibden Park
