Douglas Binder & The Dean Clough Collection

Most of the works in our collection were selected by Doug in his role as both founder and curator of the Dean Clough galleries. Aiming to be as extensive as possible, this will be the first time that the pieces will be on public display together.

Doug has agreed to be a living exhibition and will be setting up a temporary studio in the Crossley Gallery. During this time, he will be available to share his knowledge and memories of the artists, exhibits and his time here.

Featuring established regional artists alongside those who never achieved much renown, and spanning our three main galleries, please do come and see what has been hidden in our stores and private spaces as well as work that has been regularly on public view.
