Philip Booth – Breathing Out Slowly

Philip Booth is a British sculptor who makes wall mounted and free standing constructions, box works, art medals and works on paper, mainly in mixed media.

Philip’s practice explores our layered and fractured relationship with nature, inviting slow, sustained looking that rewards repeated encounters. Rooted in early conceptual art yet baroque in tone, his abstract forms evoke geology and natural forces without imitation. Balancing precision and dynamism, his work challenges the divide between humankind and the natural world, foregrounding nature’s agency and celebrating its richness.

When: Saturday 21st February until Sunday 24th May, weekdays 09:00 – 17:00, weekends 10:00 – 16:00

Where: Crossley Gallery, D Mill
