The Queens of Halifax

3 queens (Alianna, Summer Hayze and Lana) who all live and work in Calderdale, delivering fabulous performances in bars, clubs and events across the area.

Lauren G

One of the UK’s leading Taylor Swift tribute acts, with an impressive background in entertainment including an appearance on ITV’s X Factor.

Forever Freddie

Tribute act to Freddie Mercury, the superstar frontman of rock band Queen, performed by one of the UK’s top showmen Joe Tilly.

Todd Wilson

Singer / songwriter born and raised in Halifax, performing for most of his life, including past appearances at Calderdale Pride.

Marigold Addams

Alter-ego of Paul Houldsworth, a drag artiste and professional singer from West Yorkshire, capturing the essence of the “Queen of Cruise” Jane McDonald.

The Trilogies

Dynamic 3-piece vocal harmony trio (Bradley Johnson, Freddie Bolt and Nigel Passey), celebrated for their diverse vocals, pitch-perfect harmonies and sharp dance moves.

Channy

UK pop artist who has supported major acts such as Jess Glynne, Sigala, Olly Murs, Nathan Sykes, Tulisa, Scouting for Girls, Sister Sledge and many more.

Shirley Valentine

Larger-than-life performer representing the trans community and winner of the Mamas Drag Battle 2024 in Leeds.

LegzAnya

Drag artist and DJ from Yorkshire and a regular performer at BarCode and Yates in Halifax.

Donna Marie

Internationally acclaimed tribute act to pop icon Lady Gaga

Orange Box Choir

Community choir for young people and young adults (aged 13 to 25), based at the Orange Box Community Centre in Halifax.

Bea Badillia

21-year-old independent Filipino singer / songwriter from Halifax. Her first single “I Think That I’m in Love (La La La) received airplay on BBC Introducing Merseyside.

Alexandra Carlos

Combining pop culture with folk inspired lyrics, her songs have been played on the radio, and she has recently performed in France, London, and New York!

Pete Monsoon

Halifax DJ who has performed all around the world, releasing remixes for Ministry of Sound, Clubland and Data Records.

Free Shuttle Service!

Thanks to the generous support of First Bus, a free shuttle service will be running throughout the day to help you travel safely and easily between Halifax Train Station and Dean Clough.

  • Service times: Every 20 minutes from 11:00 – 20:00
  • Pick-up location: Bottom of Horton Street, opposite Halifax Train Station

Please note: There will be a short driver break from 15:00 – 16:00, during which no shuttle service will operate.

FAQs

Do I need a ticket?

No, just turn up on the day! Just be aware it will be extremely busy and queues may be likely later in the day.

 

Is there event parking?

Yes. Parking is free for the duration of the event, the event car park is labelled on the visitor map above.

 

Can I bring a bag?

Please keep bags to a minimum. Be aware however there are bag searches at the gates for security purposes. Please be patient with the people doing this as it is for everyone’s safety.

 

Can I buy a VIP ticket?

No, everyone has the same access!

 

Can I bring my own food and drink?

We’re afraid not. However, there are lots of restaurants, bars and cafés on-site + vendors in the event area.

 

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, just be aware it will be at maximum capacity at times throughout the day so it will be very busy.

 

Can I bring children?

Absolutely, Pride is for everyone! Just make sure children are supervised at all times and don’t wander off.

 

Can I bring an umbrella?

No. This is to maximise visibility for all attendees.

 

Will the event be BSL interpreted?

Yes, the event will be BSL interpreted.

 

Can I leave and come back later?

Yes! You’re welcome to come and go from Dean Clough throughout the day. However, please be aware that there may be queues when re-entering during busy times.
