The Cooking School at Dean Clough has been created by Executive Director Anita Cormac and is led by Principal Tutor Chef Matthew Benson Smith. The state of the art facilities offer a day out to remember whether you are a beginner or seasoned expert in the kitchen.

Recognised as one of the UK’s leading cooking schools and winner of the Yorkshire Life Food and Drink Newcomer of the Year Award it has a huge range of tempting courses, not only will you learn top cooking tips but the day long courses are fun and food-filled as you work your way through the amazing menu; cooking, learning and eating as you go! Matthew always makes sure you cook enough, so there are plenty of dishes to take home for you and your family to enjoy later!

If all that wasn’t enough to tempt you, as part of every course booked, you get a gift pack to take home which includes all the recipes used during the day as well as your very own Cooking School apron. The Cook Shop is also stocked with a comprehensive range of kitchenware as used in the school for you to purchase after the course if you wish.

The Cooking School is fully accessible for disabled people and there is a workstation especially for those who use a wheelchair.
